To MEME or not to MEME.
Meme, meme, meme, what exactly does that mean? Is that English? Spanish? Spanglish?

meme. noun.

Not sure when the word actually came about. Probably some 10 months ago. This is the phrase that David uses meaning SLEEP or NAP.

When sleepy or tired, David will acknowledge the word MEME and tuck his head into something close. If he's lying near something, he'll pull it over his head and hide behind it.

At first, David didn't know a word for sleepy or tired. He would just rub his face, eyes in particluar. This is also why we're so excited about the sign language David is now learning. More ways for him to communicate the same feelings.

(TOP; David falling asleep in his turtle float. We were splishing-n-splashing and then all of a sudden put his head down and began to close his eyes.
LEFT; David asleep in his crib. Someone mentioned that David reminded them of the King of France, because of the rather large bed for such a wittle one.
BOTTOM; David taking a nap with his younger cousin Christian. Both were exhausted after play time.)

Below is David's week-to-week MEME Schedule:

DAY MORN AFTER EVE
MON Nap *Thpy Sleep
TUE Nap *Thpy Sleep
WED Nap Nap Sleep
THUR Nap *Thpy Sleep
FRI Nap *Thpy Sleep
SAT Nap Nap Sleep
SUN Nap Nap Sleep

*Thpy = Therapy Sessions.
On these days the schedule is altered in order to have David energized for his 1-on-1 sessions.
